Quietness: between 10:00 and 08:00 – this means children, music and dogs too! During the day, you are asked to refrain from noise that might disturb other campers or wildlife.

Tidiness: take only pictures, leave only footprints. Bring rubbish back to the Hub and use the bins provided. Ensure nappies are bagged before binning in the general waste bin. Leave anything you use clean and tidy – just as you would like to find it!

Respect: For other campers, for the site and facilities, and for the hill, woods, wildlife and environment.

Children: The sound of children’s laughter is a delight. Screaming, out of control children are not. Please ensure your children respect the other campers. Children must be supervised at all times. No unaccompanied under 18’s

Safety: No cycling in the campsite grounds or buildings. All ball games to be played on the allocated area.

No party groups: Single gender groups of more than 3 will not be accepted without advance agreement; mixed groups of 6 or more should discuss their requirements at the time of booking.

Control Dogs: Book in dogs or other pets. Dogs and pets must always be kept under control. On the hill or in the woods dogs must not run loose, chase farm or wild birds and animals.
Pick up dog waste and bring it back to a bin. At certain times of year (e.g.: breeding season for ground nesting birds, or if the number of dogs booked in becomes too high) we may not accept dogs.

Safe Open Fires: Light fires and disposable bar-b-ques only in the fireplace or bowl provided. Don’t light fires in windy conditions or in tents. Don’t leave fires unattended. Douse fires with water or sand when leaving the pitch. Take immediate action against blown sparks and any threats of fire spreading, using the equipment provided. Scorched pitch surfaces may be the subject of a small charge to pay for repairs. Read & Observe the website section on Fire Safety.

Safe Lights and lamps: Use no naked flame lights, candles, or paper Lanterns, due to fire risk. Read & Observe the website section on Fire Safety.
