Escape the working week and embrace the gentle pace of lowland living in one of our Woodland Safari Tents.
Pitch your own tent in our Edwardian Walled Garden on a terraced lawn pitch
Pitch your own tent in one of our three woodlands camping area. Each woodland has around 6 marked pitches, each with their own firebowl, a bag of logs for the fire is included each night. A composting loo and sink with drinking water are provided in the woodland.
For the ultimate in peace and quiet, escape to our single pitch woodland, Gledswing Lookout.
A venue like no other for your wedding, with camping and glamping for you and your guests
The Scottish Borders has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK. The absolute must is to climb from the campsite up to the top of Ruberslaw (424 m). You will have a fantastic 360° view south and east over Rulewater to the Cheviots and the English Border, north over Teviotdale to the Eildons, Ettrick Forest and the Moorfoot Hills, and west to Craik Forest.
If your stay is aimed at relaxation and gentle activity during the day, perhaps with several different focal points in the day for the kids, there is a lot to do without spending hours in the car.
Our 500 acres of unspoilt upland is set in the heart of the Teviot Valley's Special Landscape Area in the Scottish Borders.
Each one of our wonderful camping or glamping options will give you...
Breathe in the Borders!
If any of the above fit then you should contact us rather than using the booking system. Please email info@ruberslaw.co.uk or call 07834 571449
Very important, please note:
We operate Quiet Hours on site from 10pm until 8am to allow everyone a good night's sleep.
We only accommodate campers in traditional tents. As there is no vehicle access to any of our pitches we can't take bookings for camper vans or trailer tents.
Welcome to Ruberslaw Wild Woods Camping
We are so pleased to be open for 2025, book now to secure your favourite pitch or safari tent. Look out for some new additions to the campsite soming soon!
We have sadly made the decision to close Home Wood for this season. The consequences of winter sroms and of tents on the forest floor mean that the trees and environment need a respite to recover. Minto View and Castle View are still available and thriving!
It's lambing time so it's very important to remember to be a responsible dog owner while staying at the campsite, dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Follow the link below for more info on good practice-
