    The Scottish Borders has some of the most breathtaking scenery in the UK. The absolute must is to climb from the campsite up to the top of Ruberslaw (424 m). You will have a fantastic 360° view south and east over Rulewater to the Cheviots and the English Border, north over Teviotdale to the Eildons, Ettrick Forest and the Moorfoot Hills, and west to Craik Forest.

  • Booking for a group of more than 4 pitches? (only permitted in woodlands, not in Walled Garden)
  • Looking for a booking for tonight? Please call to check availability or book, the online system only lets you check availability or book for the next day and we don't want you to miss out!
  • Looking for a venue for a large event? You can hire the whole site by arrangement.

We operate Quiet Hours on site from 10pm until 8am to allow everyone a good night's sleep.


Pitch Types


We only accommodate campers in traditional tents. As there is no vehicle access to any of our pitches we can't take bookings for camper vans or trailer tents.

Welcome to Ruberslaw Wild Woods Camping


We're looking forward to May weekends and holidays on site. The garden is changing every day, the cherry blossom is out and we're all ready to meet you.
